In Asia the crane or tsuru symbolizes good fortune, longevity, happiness and peace. Since 1960's. it has been a tradition to hand-fold 1001 cranes for display at local weddings. The Japanese have called this tsuru wa sennen or "the crane lives for 1000 years." Thousands of original designs and artwork have been created but nothing like this uniqued arrangement of tsuru that has been displayed in this beautiful Corian showcase.
